The end of the Korean War, what did it teach us about conflicts knowing that the war has not ended 70 years later?

Well, good evening, John.

Well, one thing the Korean War taught us was the importance of enforcing the armistice or whatever

agreement you have to end a war.

You would better be willing to make sure that the terms are kept and that the other side doesn't cheat on it.

And that's worked very well in the case of Korea.

Korea is also very interesting because it was so hard to reach an agreement.

And that's the case with every war.

And that's what I was trying to point out in the article.

There was huge opposition from the South Korean side, didn't want the Americans to call for, to push for a ceasefire and even a settlement agreement.
