How did you feel about the season then?

Because I think this is the weird thing that we couldn't truly speak to as we're not too Spartan fans, but I looked at it and said your preseason unranked, you win a big 10 title, you finally inject a run into this program that had been without one. And I felt like while you're not doing cartwheels, you didn't make the final four, I feel like you shouldn't be ashamed of the season. Can you feel happy about that season?

That's where it gets weird.

I think I'm happy we didn't embarrass ourselves again.

The last four years, they've been a 500 Big Ten program.

And with Tom Izzo approaching 70, I think it was okay to say, geez, are we, is this the Bougar Beheim $2 breakfast?

I'm happy they won the Big Ten, and I'm happy they got a premium seed.
