Let's look over in Ephesians, Chapter 2.

And it's only when you are putting your 100% faith in what Jesus did for you that you see the power of God revealed.

If you are linking God's power and blessings

in your life to something that you do,

then that's the reason that you aren't seeing the power of God. And I meet so many Christians

that believe God can do anything, but they doubt that he will do it because they don't feel

worthy. And this is where Satan is defeating people.

It's very similar to when Peter walked on the water the 14th chapter of the book of Matthew.

As long as he looked at Jesus, the author and the finisher of his faith, he could walk on water.

He could do the supernatural.

But he took his eyes off of Jesus and began to look at the wind and the waves. The wind and the waves didn't have anything to do with him walking on the water. He couldn't have walked on the water if it had been a perfectly calm day. But what the wind and the waves did it took his attention off of Jesus and had him think about what am I doing?

I'm just human and he began to relate to God based on what he did, who he was instead of what God said to him.
