And now here's Andrew.

0:14.5

All right, so what I've been teaching on, I started on Thursday night teaching out of Ephesians chapter 4 verse 17 where it says don't be as the

0:24.1

Gentiles that don't know God and that live this way. And I've been teaching on how God wants us to be.

0:33.2

And then Jeremy basically was teaching the same thing about how faith talks like this.

0:38.1

It walks like this. And it works. And he's teaching us these things. And it was, is really the same

0:43.5

thing. We didn't use this terminology, but basically we've been teaching what is a, what should a

0:48.8

Christian be like? We didn't use that terminology because today the word Christian is applied to all kinds of things that don't even apply to. The word Christian actually was used. I believe it was in Acts chapter, I forget the exact verse, but they first call the disciples of Jesus Christians in Antioch and it was a derogatory term. And it was a slur. Actually, they were saying,

1:14.2

you're acting just like Christ. That's what the word Christian means, little Christ. You're acting

1:18.6

just like Christ. And today, there's people that claim to be Christians. And if they were

1:23.3

arrested for being a Christian, there wouldn't be enough evidence to convict them. They don't look

1:27.9

like Christians. They don't talk like it. They don't act like it. So we haven't used that terminology,

1:33.4

but basically what we've been talking about is what should a Christian be like? And so I

1:38.2

counted a lot of things on Thursday night and Friday morning. Then this morning, I used Numbers Chapter 11 to show that God

1:47.2

doesn't like complaining and murmuring. Man, this is not a good thing. And even though we now are

1:55.5

redeemed from punishment and God's not going to punish us, it still is not good to gripe and complain.

2:01.3

And one of the things I talked about was, you know, the scripture talks about we are a sweet

2:05.5

saver and a sweet smelling savor under the Lord. And I don't know if that's literal or if it's just

2:10.9

symbolic, but if it's literal, there's a lot of people that just put out a stink that draws

2:17.4

ever demon in the county to you.

2:20.8

And complaining is one of those things that will do it.
