I just saw Smile II, and I reviewed it for slash film.com, the review went up today.

I liked it. I like the first movie. You know I went through an interesting thing where when I first saw the

original movie I didn't really like it that much because it felt really derivative.

Like it just felt like it was borrowing ideas from like a million other movies.

And then I re-watched it on Blu-ray and I actually grew to really like it on Blu-ray like giving it a

second chance like seeing it with new eyes I sort of came to really appreciate it

so I was looking forward to this I think think this is pretty much on par with the first

movie maybe a little bit better. It's it's doing very similar things to the first
