When Jessica met her current husband Matt, she was still sort of dating her ex-husband Steve.

Yes, you heard that right, you did.

And today the three of them are friends, and they even host a podcast together.

On the podcast, Jessica, Matt, and ex-husband Steve share their stories of love and marriage coming out, divorce, remarriage and co-parenting.

All of the things. They are also breaking down stereotypes about what a quote-unquote good divorce looks like. Oh, oh, oh, oh, But let's back up. Let's start at the beginning of their story.

Like I said earlier, when Jessica met her current husband met, she was dating her ex-husband

Steve.

My ex-husband and I had been married for seven years and two years into our relationship he came out to me as gay

But we were really happy and we were raised in a very conservative Christian religion and so it just wasn't like in his mind it wasn't an option to go Live his life and be gay. He wanted to stay in our marriage.

And I did too. We were really happy together. We had fun together and I didn't see any reason

to leave. And so we decided to stay together and we eventually had a daughter together and then he ended up having an affair and we decided to get divorced.

So we got divorced.

He moves in with the guy he had the affair with.

I move, we're living in Oklahoma time.

I move back to Boise because we owned a home there

and moved into our home.

And about six months after we were divorced, Steve's like, hey, I can't do this. We need to see if we can make this work again and all of these things. I'm like, okay, well, then come back to Boise and let's give this another try. So I am like four months into

dating my ex my gay ex husband which I know just is absolutely nut so. I do. I do.
