Summary

Tonight’s guest, Terry, describes himself as being an avid outdoorsman, who spends as much time in the woods as he can. Terry lives in the Ozark Mountains, and that’s not an accident. Terry lives there because after riding his motorcycle all over the country, seeing what different places have to offer, he feels that the Ozark Mountains cater to his preferences more than pretty much any other place he’s been. While it’s true that Terry has always loved spending time in the woods, he likes spending time in them even more now, now that he’s had the experience he’s going to share with you, on tonight’s show. It’s the time Terry and his son saw an Ozark Ape, as the locals call them.

0:49.0	And back on July the 22nd of 22 my son and I had decided we would go out
0:59.4	side-by-side riding up in the National Forest here in Arkansas in the Ozarks and it was a beautiful day.
1:08.0	It's kind of cool that morning.
1:10.0	Animals were out, we seen deer squirrels birds and we started back to one of the
1:19.3	waterfalls there my son had not seen and I decided to take him and let him see him. My son, he's 31.
1:30.0	So we proceeded back there and having a good time laughing, joking, and we come around a real
1:38.2	short turn and the trail drops off on the right-hand side,
1:46.3	approximately 200 feet to the bottom of the mountain.
1:51.2	And as we proceeded around that corner, we both caught a glimpse of something and I stopped the side-by-side.
1:58.0	And we're like, what is this? You know, it's like nothing that we'd ever seen before. First thought was, is that a bear?
