I'm joining you from California this week.

I'm the opposite of Miles.

Miles is usually in Pacific Time.

I'm in Eastern Time.

He's in Eastern Time in Cleveland. I'm in Pacific Time in California where we had a King Family Christmas with the three grandchildren and a couple of families, one from Seattle, one from the

Bay Area, so we've had a good time.

And for some of you, you might have followed my family adventures over the years,

first in Monday morning quarterback, then in football morning in America.

So we have a four-year-old granddaughter Hazel who lives here in California and who they have a new dog and the dog's name is a he's a very she's a very skittish something mix I don't know she's

brown I just call her brown dog but her name is Jersey and so Jersey is scared to death of men so I've been in this house now for like

five days and just yesterday I got to pet her but anyway I asked Hazel at one point. I said, Hazel, do you have any advice for me on how to get Jersey to like me?

And she thought for a minute, she said, you've got to give her her space.

And so I said, there's a good lesson in that.

And Miles Simmons, I've given you about 2,000 miles worth of space today. How are you?

I'm doing great. I don't have any dog stories like that. No dogs are around here

to the Simmons household for me to learn how to pet, but that's a fantastic story.

And I think that there is a good lesson in that. You do sometimes, you gotta give people their space in order to make them feel comfortable.

So anyway, I am in the the little spare work office in the

backyard of my daughter's home here in California.

So the lighting is not pristine and for you people on YouTube.
