Slash Film Daily. Today is Monday, March 31st, 2025. On today's episode of the show, we're going to be

0:35.9

talking about the weekend's box office numbers. My name is Ben Pearson. I'm an editor at slashfilm.com, and I'm joined on today's episode

0:41.9

by Slashfilm staff writer and box office analyst Ryan Scott. Hey, hey, everyone. How's it going?

0:47.2

Ryan, how are you today? I am doing just fine. I had my first slow weekend in over a month. I just sat around and watched movies all day,

0:55.7

and my new big-ass TV yesterday. It was wonderful. How are you, my friend? I am very well. That

1:00.4

1:07.5

going to go to L.A. and Chicago, we're going to be out for a few weeks,

1:11.7

but I'm going to bring my mic with me, and hopefully you and I can be podcasting during that time.

1:15.6

So I may miss a few days here and there over the course of April and into the first week of May,

1:21.4

but my hope is to still have a podcast episode for all the listeners, all the weekdays that I'm out. So I'm sure I'll be

1:29.2

talking about that more as I'm sort of out there in it and doing stuff in L.A. and whatever.

1:35.0

So I just wanted to put that on anybody's radar in case for some reason there just isn't an

1:40.4

episode on a given day. Are you going to Chicago for any specific reason?

1:50.2

1:55.1

that as the opportunity to extend our LA trip and flying back across the country toward Florida, we'll stop in the middle

2:01.9

and hang out in Chicago for a little bit.

2:03.7

Oh, heck yeah.
