All right, it's a time of week. The weekly pep talk we do this once a week. It's just a five minute little digestible super easy episode

Just to like get your head right for the week and this one's going out to parents. Somebody had mentioned on the certified fans page

If we can talk about parents and during the pandemic and like self-care, what can you do and you know

Maybe some of these things would be nice reminders for you. Just get us through hopefully summer. All right

Hi, it's Nancy. Today I want to talk about self-care, especially if you're a parent

This pandemic has gone on for so long and we're all so pandemic weary

And it's been such a challenging time to take care of

ourselves and our families and all of our loved ones

So I just want to go through a few reminders today about how important it is

For you to take care of you

Because if you're okay, your children will be okay as well

So remember first of all to make time for yourself

Even now much of the personal time that we used to have when we were commuting

Our time alone at home or at the store

Our social time with friends sitting in a restaurant

That's not available and we have kids at home now

I know some of my the best times of my day were on my commute

That one hour just to myself was so glorious to unwind

But we have to be intentional now about creating space to recharge and decompress

This may be just taking a nice long bath or a shower

going for a walk
