David, thank you so much for being here.

We're so blessed, so excited to learn from you

and to have a conversation with you for the next little bit.

I understand that you have a presentation,

but thank you so much for being here, everybody.

I appreciate it, and thank you for your time.

I thought I'd just give a quick setting of the stage

and something to think about,

and then the majority of it is not me talking to you,

but most importantly, listening for, listening for what's important to you and hopefully

facilitating the advice, wisdom, and faith that's necessary to shorten the distance of resistance

that most of us are creating in our own lives. My journey is one of three different worlds.

The first world is the one I was born into, a world of scarcity, of a world of not enough,

where I always felt like a victim because of my financial status.

I had a single mom who raised me, six kids, five boys and one girl.

She worked two jobs. One is a second

grade teacher, packed our dinners in a paper bag, and drove us around in a country square

station wagon to fill up turnstiles at convenience stores with greeting cards just so we could

eat. Sometimes my mom, with her understanding of scarcity and still being completely abundant. I remember my mom actually

buying food with food stamps and buying pencils as well for second grade class because the school

didn't supply those at the time. It's a nuance of an infinite loop of giving in which I've learned to what abundance is.

I worked really hard.
