Faith is how we're able to trust what we cannot see.

When we put our faith in God and choose to believe His word as truth for our daily lives,

it means we are trusting his will for us.

Faith is what allows God's power to work in our lives.

Now here's Joyce with today's teaching.

Today I want to teach a two-part series, we'll continue it this afternoon, on what faith is and how does it work?

What is faith and how does it work? Now, faith is the foundational doctrine of the Bible.

Without faith, we can't please God. We're to live by faith.

Romans 14, this is whatever to live by faith.

Romans 14, this is whatever is not of faith, is sin.

And faith, believing, trusting, is how we receive everything that God wants us to have.

And so I have not taught on faith,

just a good basic foundational powerful message on faith in a long time.

For a long time there was a lot of teaching about faith and I learned through that how much faith I didn't have or at least how much

of it I was not putting in the right place. You see I believe that every person has

faith rather they're a believer or not. You see I believe that every person has faith.

Rather, they're a believer or not, they have faith because if you didn't have any faith,

you would not even get on a highway and try to drive to work,

because you'd be petrified that you'd be killed. So in Romans it says

...
