Seven years ago I had this crazy thought to start a podcast and so many people told me I don't know if that's a good idea I think you have to have a big email list or a big audience or social media I think that you're probably late to the party

maybe you shouldn't do it by the way you have three kids under the age of four and a

half maybe it's not the best time to do it and for some reason when people

doubt me that only ignites me.

Well I'm so grateful that I started that podcast. I'm so grateful that I made a bet

that what would matter more than being perfect was authenticity and connection.

And I went ahead and I did it and I led with my heart and I met you and I got to talk to people

from all over the world and I'm so grateful that I went ahead and did it. It's one of the most important decisions I've ever made. It changed my life. I've grown in ways I cannot begin to describe. I've written two books. We've recorded 900 episodes, which means that I've sat down face to face with some of the brightest, most

incredible minds of our time, and I've learned so much. I made millions of dollars. I built a path that now

models such possibility for my three daughters, and I've impacted so many people around the world

that I never would have met. I made the most amazing friends and I've been invited to

opportunities that have been extraordinary but the most important thing is that I've shown myself what I'm capable of.
