We've got a lot of stuff to talk about on today's show.

We've got the fallout from Lakers Nets.

We need to talk a bit about the officiating as well because, well, there was a lot of stuff that's been said,

a lot of stuff that's been pointed out on social media since the Lakers lost to the Nets that we need to get into.

And it's not just Lakers specific.

It's NBA-wide that we need to talk about some stuff going on with the officiating.

And then we need to finish things out by getting into the mailbag.

loss to the Brooklyn Nets obviously was extremely frustrating. It was an annoying loss, not just because

it was a loss to a tanking team. Certainly that is part of it,

not the expected outcome. You're expected to win those games. I say it many times of the course

of the season. I say it every year when we start the season, that the most important thing for

playoff seating is not beating all the best teams. It's beating the teams you're supposed to

beat. If you consistently beat the teams you're supposed to beat, you're going to be okay. It's when you start stacking up losses to teams

you should not lose to. That's where you get yourself in trouble. And the Lakers have done that

recently. As good as they've been. They've been great recently. I think that's one of the things we

don't want to overlook. They've been great, but they have found ways to lose to very bad teams. They lost to the Jazz. They lost to the Hornets. And now they've lost the damn Brooklyn Nets.
