Summary

It is true that the way we are referred to by others can have an impact on our sense of self and identity. The labels and names that we are given can shape our perception of ourselves and the way we interact with others. It is important to be mindful of the language we use to describe ourselves and others, and to choose words that are respectful, accurate, and empowering.

It can be especially helpful to focus on the qualities and characteristics that we value about ourselves, rather than external labels or expectations. By embracing a sense of self-acceptance and self-worth, we can feel more confident and secure in our identity, regardless of what others may say or think.

As we move into a new year, it can be a good opportunity to reflect on the way we perceive ourselves and the roles and labels that we carry. If there are aspects of our identity that we want to change or strengthen, now can be a great time to set goals and take steps towards the name God calls us.
