Summary

This week, we're thinking about what comes next. We're both working on new paintings and both facing different issues. Louise veered temporarily off track once she started trying too hard,  and Alice is wondering if some things are coming too easily. By definition, the life of an artist is about growth and change, and this week definitely highlights that fact. Is it OK to find things easy, or do you need to step it up at that point? How important are deadlines? How do you get back on track when things go wrong? What is the role of teaching in your artist development? And what does all this have to do with skiing?  Tune in to find out :)

so how is your trip away Alice? It was very nice. We went skiing just with my daughter. It was quite busy. It was quite busy. What can I say? It was quite

sunshine and how ridiculous is it that you find fun in going up a mountain and just working

at how to get down it without breaking a leg and in some sense of style. I am not a brilliant skier as my daughter will tell you is still quite good fun and everyone came back unscathed we did come back unscathed. She didn't quite break a ski, but she did ski into a kind of crater when she decided to go off-piece on the last ski down and there was kind of, I didn't say I told you so only in my head.

Random.

1:56.0

Yeah it was very random and I could give you a whole load of rubbishy ski analogies about learning things and things being challenging and

finding your style and doing things on repeat and learning by doing

repeated paths and all sorts of things and then you know we had a 6 a.m.
