We had a son who used to hear voices and those voices speaking to him were not God.

But I said, son, the number one way God speaks to you is not by a voice.

It's by the peace in your heart.

So I'm going to ask you a question, what if you have a piece, but it doesn't line up with scripture?

I'm going to look for two things. Number one, in my own personal life, I've only heard the audible voice of God twice.

And that's a lot.

So I would say that's not a way you really want to look for God to be speaking to you.

I'm John Bevere joined by my absolutely lovely wife, Lisa. Lisa, it's good to see you again. And we are talking about something so exciting. Yeah. And that is hearing from God. And this is, I think it's one of the biggest requested things we get on our Messenger X app. People are looking for the course, how to hear from God. First of all, we've already done one podcast on this,

and I want to establish quickly what we said. Number one, God still speaks.

Yes. Today, he still speaks. He didn't stop speaking when the Bible was finished.

Number two, very important. He speaks in various ways at various times. Number three, he speaks to each

individual child little differently than he does with other children. I always think of what

God said to Miriam and Aaron, if there's a prophet among you, I speak to him in a vision or dream,

not so with Moses. I speak to him face to

face. So he's saying there, I'm speaking different to my different children. We've learned that

experientially with four sons. We've communicated differently with each of them. I think this is so

interesting. Our producer, Chris Pace, has provided a study that Barnah did, Lisa, on how

Americans commonly hear from God. You want to run through that? Okay, so it says that 52% believe

that God is speaking by influencing or connecting directly with their mind, emotion, or feelings. And so I would say that
