So not too long ago, I put out an Instagram reel and it was a clip of me mentioning this

quote that seemed to resonate. And what I said was, you cannot defeat, which are still willing to

entertain. So when I was thinking about what I wanted to name this episode in terms of what to do and what not to do to get closer to God this year, that was the first thing that came to my mind.

You cannot defeat which you are still willing to entertain.

So when it comes to what to do or more specifically what not to do to get closer to God in 2025 it is do not allow yourself

to have divided devotion commit to following Jesus at all costs no matter what you have to let go

you can't be full of the world and also completely available for God. You have to choose one or the other.

So when it comes to this being a year or even a part of your life that you grow in intimacy with God,

there has to be something that you let go of. It mentions in Matthew, I believe it's 1624. Jesus speaks to the disciples and he says,

if you want to be my disciples, you must take up your cross, deny yourself, and follow me.
