Happy New Year to everyone and welcome to the PFF Fantasy podcast. I'm John Macri, and I am joined, as always, by Nate, the great Yankee. Nate,

fantasy football season's over, not including the sickos, I guess, that play in week 18. But yeah,

another wild year as expected. And kind of as a way to wrap up the 2024 season here, we're going to

go over some things that we got right on the year and naturally some things that we got wrong as well.

And maybe a little bit about what we learned on the year as well.

So, Nate, another busy season hopefully ended with some fantasy championships for you.

So how are you doing coming out of 2024?

Yeah, doing well.

Glad that I get to be on here to start the year.

Last year, this was around the time that I was

switching back to the business to business IT side of things. And this year, I get to stay on

fantasy all year round. So I get to have this kind of recap episode with you, which I wasn't able to do

last year. So excited to go over what we got right and got wrong. Luckily, we will avoid

talking about week 18 too much.

I was doing the week 18 rankings yesterday, and it was such a mess trying to figure out

what some of these teams were going to do with resting players and the Rams,

even though they have the seed to fight for, probably going to rest players.

So it was like a good five or six teams that I'm just like I don't know yeah no it's a it's a

it's a complete mess to try to sort it out who knows what yeah you're right like the ram there

there's there's a ton I mean I'm yeah glad that luckily this year I think was first year I didn't

have any leagues that go on to week 18 so going to continue to just try to avoid this week because naturally it is a disaster to sort through.

But good luck to anybody that is in week 18 and has to figure it out.
