Hey everybody welcome to campaign HQ. We're now into April.

We have a Wisconsin primary, unless overnight it's been canceled,

that's gonna happen next Tuesday

with a lot of people voting by mail,

but still some intention to do some limited early

voting but other than that that could be the last contest until June and I think

where we are is obviously politics is taking a back seat to the pandemic. I'll talk about

politics first and then a few thoughts on the pandemic. So first of all this is an

enormous opportunity for Joe Biden now to build the kind of general election

from, you know, digital talent and strategy to planning your state-based operations,

really thinking through the battleground states you're going to target

and your pathway to winning them, you know, thinking through obviously the vice presidential

selection process and some thoughts about timing there.

You know my assumption is we're going to have to look as a party at moving the convention from

July to August to give you the best opportunity to have an in-person convention.

So you either do it in August as the Republicans will or

you're going to have to do a virtual convention.

So this is an opportunity for them to really,

without taking a tremendous amount of incoming directly from the

Trump campaign which in normal circumstances they would be having to build a general

election campaign while Trump's trying to decapitate them. They've got an opportunity here to really build what we need.
