Hello everyone and welcome to UnSpooled. I'm Amy Nicholson.

And I am Paul Sheer and this is the podcast where we are endeavoring to find the best films of all time.

We have made our way through the AFI, top 100. We have called that down to 40.

A lot of people agree, a lot of people disagree, but this is part of the show.

We are trying to find the films that really represent the best of cinema, and we have opened it up so much larger in our second season,

where we are looking at different genres of films.

We've just come off of fucked up families, and we are entering into our brand new mini-series that I have been looking forward to,

since we started talking about this season, which is couple goals, Amy.

Like this is all the movies that are about good couples, bad couples.

I mean, we're going to get a little bit of our romantic comedy on here.

We are. We are. We're going to go across the board of Coupledum for good, for bad, for dramatic, for the laughs.

And I'm so glad that we're going to start with this film, which to me, when we first began our entire whole show on Spooled,

I was like, can't wait till we get to the One Harry with Met Sally episode. What do you mean, One Harry and Met Sally isn't even already on the list?

I was so excited to watch it. And then last night before I hit play, I had this moment of what if it's not as good as I remember?

What if this movie doesn't age well? We'll find out. I don't want to tell you how I felt until we get into the episode,

but there was a nervousness because we've talked about it so much. And I realized I haven't seen it in years.

I mean, what was the last time that you saw this film? Oh gosh, before this probably five years ago, but I do want to say, if you've turned against it, then you're right.

Men and women cannot be friends. Well, I'm going to save it for after we on Spooled. But I will tell you what you have to look forward to in the coming weeks on the show.

First of all, we have Chungking Express coming up next week. That's on January 21st. And then we celebrate Groundhog Day by watching Groundhog Day.

Another film that I think is a very easy ad to the best films of all timeless. I mean, I know you may be not think that or where do you fall in the Groundhog Day equation?
