Welcome in to another edition of the Barton and Bud podcast.

We probably need to start this podcast by giving a special shout out.

Congratulations to Barton Simmons, my normal co-host,

for becoming a hashtag girl dad for the third time. A beautiful baby girl born, what,

Friday I think it was. And mom and baby are doing well. Very excited about that. And Barton was

very gung-ho that he was going to be able to podcast all throughout the Trinity leave.

And Luke and I are my manager, Luke Stan Pini, said, hey, just in case, make sure somebody else is available and talked to Barton last night.

And he said he had really not slept yet in about four or five days now.

So enter the picture. Josh Pate.

Josh, you know him of Lake Kick and Lake Kick Extra podcast and YouTube show. Josh, what's going

all, man? Do you guys, let me take my gum out first. You don't chew gum on the show, do you? It is,

yeah, man, it's great to be here. I sent, I sent Barton a text yesterday. I told you, brother, I don't know if you've seen the news on Twitter, but you had another kid. So congratulations. And he took it

exactly how you would think you'd take it. Oh, man. I think he's going to try to get back next week.

But if he doesn't, I mean, hey, he might get Wally Pipped, dude. This is, this is, I think we got a pretty good show today. Yeah, we do, we do the

Wilfong whip around with Steve Wilfong all the time and like he's got so much stuff coming in.

There's constantly dings and buzzes all over the place. And I think that Barton's

dings and buzzes will just be whales and cries from different rooms in his house. And I think

it adds a lot of context and adds character, I think, if you do it right to a podcast.

I agree.

Yeah, it definitely does.

And if you guys are in most of our meetings, Barton usually takes his meetings outside.
