next to the next stage.

Well, welcome to The Roy's Report, brought to you in part by Judson University.

I'm Julie Roy's, and I'm so glad you've joined me for this next hour,

when we'll be discussing an extremely important issue, the issue of abortion.

Specifically, we'll be exploring how Bible-believing Christians

should think about this issue, and how is it that even some Christians are supporting new

radical pro-choice laws like the one just passed here in Illinois. That law made abortion

a fundamental right and repealed the ban on partial birth abortion. It also eliminated spousal consent,

waiting periods, and criminal penalties for abortion providers. And it established that a fertilized

egg, embryo, or fetus does not have independent rights under the law. So what do Christians

think of this Illinois pro-abortion law? Or how about the one that was passed earlier this year in New York?
