Hey guys, welcome back to According to. I'm Megan and I'm Sierra. And for this week

episode, Megan, I thought it'd be fun to talk about the concept of comparison being the thief

of joy, talk through kind of like our own personal experiences with it and how we have dealt with it as well

as just like generally creating conversation around how you guys might be dealing with it both

in person and then through social media yeah i feel like we both kind of have like separate

outlines made um i made an outline kind of talking about what different aspects of your life might you be

experiencing different um like things that you're comparing yourself towards other people and then i

have like things that i this was like a small section but i was kind of like i feel like at least

on social media some people try to make an active effort to like remove the facade

or increase the like realness they share with the audience to try and make it so that you're not

comparing yourself so much um so I listed like some trends that I feel like fall in that category of

like what are people doing to try and make it so you're not comparing yourself so much or being so

harder yourself? And yeah, we'll just kind of see where the episode takes us.

So before we get into it, we like to talk about our weekly spotlights and give some book updates

and whatnot. So Megan, what is your weekly spotlight for this week?

I think my weekly spotlight was, we did a couple different things this week where we were catching up with like, you know, sisters, I say, like you and Haley and our parents.

And I was like, this is good stuff.

We should do it more often as if we don't see them regularly.

So we did dinner on Thursday with

her mom and then haley was also with us texas roadhouse good stuff would highly recommend um but we

ended up getting together just because i ended up calling my mom earlier this week and i was just like

we should we should do dinner why not and so um it was just good to catch up share what everyone was up
