I'm an all caps. I'm an all caps person. I'm a loud talker.

From purposely mistyping something because it's like cool, and then I'll fight the autocorrect when I want you to be normal.

If I am just meeting you, I'm going to do Queens English, capital I.

I think I started like recklessly sending text messages where I don't read them, and I just send whatever was typed out for me.

If I become more and more your friend, those capital letters go out the window.

I can always tell when I'm on a desktop and mobile, because my first letter will be capitalized.

That is very big. Can you be more specific?

Okay, fine. Why do you use all lowercase letters when you type to me, either just on Slack, on Twitter, on texting? And when I say

you, in the general, not Caitlin specifically, do you type in all lowercase? I don't know if you do.

Yes, I do type in all lowercase. I am one of those people, guilty, who wants to appear on

Twitter as if she could not possibly care less about her thought that she is carefully putting

together and then putting on the internet. And therefore, always types in lowercase.

And if I'm tweeting from my phone I will even

deliberately fight the autocorrect that capitalizes things to make it lowercase so that I seem

detached and cool yeah of course you are so detached and so cool so like this this episode, we're talking about lowercase,

but we're also, I guess, kind of broadening to talk about general conventions around punctuation,
