Thank you. Yeah, so we've run into each other at a few events now thanks to our mutual friend Chris Williamson and I have to say I really appreciate the kind of content that you put out on Instagram

you've unlocked how to use the text-based very information-heavy posts on a very

superficial image-based platform you're up to about 60K now aren't you?

Yeah yeah just about. Yeah and so so for those who aren't

really familiar with your posts they can go and check it out in the description but what was the

motivation for starting a men's advocacy

Instagram account?

And why has it taken off to such an extent?

Well, I mean, fundamentally, I felt

there's a gap in the market for well-meaning discourse

for men and boys, especially within the left-leaning space,

the so-called progressive space.

I wanted to talk about men and boys outside of feminist viewpoints, and God help anyone that tries to do that.

It's no easy thing to do.

But I mean, I had over lockdown.

I'm a professional creative by trade and obviously a lot of work

disappeared of lockdown, so I needed something to do with my time.

So I had time, I had the skills, I had lots of motivation from being very frustrated by my liberal progressive friends and what I saw was a continual failure and betrayal of men and boys.

And also I grew up with quite thick skin, my parents really taught me the value of being balanced and understanding, not reacting so

emotionally and like having a sense of balance in doing the hard work. I think that is required to talk about these issues because I mean
