Why do I accept the Gospels as accurate historically? Because I have tests that I use on any

document that claims to be historical. I'm a skeptic. I'm not going to blindly believe anything.

And so I plead with you, put together some tests that you use to determine historicity.

Is this document historically reliable or is it not?

Internal consistency, meaning by that, are there contradictions

within the text that show that there's massive confusion on the part of the authors? No. When you

read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, although there are different perspectives, two angels

an empty tomb, one angel in an empty tomb.

The author does not write, there was only one angel, and then the other guy says, no, there
