I think there's an awful lot of talk about AI and what AI is able to do, but I think fundamentally

there's some kind of misunderstanding about what AI is and what it does.

I guess the hype around Revelry, but I don't take away from any of their success because they certainly deserve it.

But I'd like to see some of that magic dust settle on some of our other UK Challenger banks, I think.

I think the thing that I find most frustrating about what we've done in the UK is we've just assumed that if we can get these companies to Series A,

then the rest will take care of itself.

of your portfolio and the companies that you're backing.

So yes, I'm James Codling. I'm the managing partner of Volution, which is a UK-based venture capital firm

that specialises in the way that we look at the world is we invest in companies that improve
