I am delighted to be joined today by Alex Castellanos, who is a political strategist,

godfather of the attack ad, and also co-founder of Purple Strategies,

which is a consultancy. And Alex is, last time we had Alex on the show, he was here in London

We had the debate.

We had the fallout from the debate, which was extraordinary.

we then had the shooting of Donald Trump

in Butler, Pennsylvania. And then, of course, the most recent story, Joe Biden withdrawing from

the race and Kamala Harris becoming the presumptive democratic nominee and seemingly unstoppable.

There's a lot of excitement about Kamala Harris at this moment.

It's obviously been a very tumultuous time in American politics and emotions are running high.
