So, guys, we had precisely one week off of our big summer break.

I think we've all been working anyway, right? Yeah, I know, I know.

Listen, we did say we were going to come back when sort of important things happened. So we've all gathered again today because yesterday, the Chancellor Rishi Sunak made his summer statement.

That's his bid to try to save the economy after the massive impact of the still ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Mr Sunak has said the UK is entering one of the most severe recessions this country has ever seen.

So on that cheery note, Rajde and Nick, you were covering this yesterday, this statement.

Yeah, I mean, that makes it sound like it was really doom and gloom.

I feel like the doom and gloom arrived today.

Yesterday, I feel like it was a bit more.

He was trying to inject lots of hope, saying he wants people to have hope about their future jobs.

So they announced a bunch of things.
