跪起

Hello beloved listeners, this is Adrian, writer of stories and songs,

emergent strategist, pleasure activist, and meme-wrench living in the land of the Shaqori,

Scorure, Tuscarora, and Lundi peoples.

And this is how to survive the end of the world, our podcast about learning

from apocalypse with Greece, rigor, and curiosity.

When I say how, of course, when I say ours, of course I'm including my

co-host and sister Autumn, currently on sabbatical, in her absence,

and in the spirit of my book Fables and Spells, I am going full-wrench mode

this season, and having conversation with my favorite and most admired witches,

and I will also read you little bits and pieces from the book as we go.

And just to say what I mean by which, people who work with the elements of the natural world,

including human nature, to generate more possibilities.

Witching is engaging the essential natural world with magic or supernatural intentions.

Some names for what I'm including in which work are shamanism,

sorcery, healing, herbalism, midwifery, and doula labor,

root work, conjuring, ritual, spell casting, astrology and divination,

sound baths, ultra building, song channeling,

building a direct relationship with the realm of spirit,

with the holy, with the ethereal.

And we're going to play with it all season.
