But the relief of comedy is it take things that aren't funny and it allows us to laugh about them for an hour

Welcome to another episode of Why You Laughing, a history of comedy podcast.

And today, I am pleased to introduce to you Woody Allen, a man that his name comes with a lot of controversy now, but we'll try and focus on some of the early stuff.

I always get nervous with these episodes for a couple of reasons.

A, Woody Allen's been talked about a lot.

The guy's been around for 80 years.

So it's tough to discuss anything that hasn't already been discussed.

But generally when we do these episodes, I don't have a reason to be nervous.

The feedback is pretty good on them.

Hopefully, if you guys don't know a lot about Woody Allen, you learn something.

And as I always say, if you do know enough about them, maybe it sends you on a trip down memory lane,

and you start looking into more stuff.
