It's a happy day. It's Friday and today I've got the first ever and still reigning WB Cruiserweight

Champion TJ Perkins just in time for his huge Hell in the Cell match at the Pay Per View October 30th

He'll be defending his title against Brian Kendrick, although there's even pay per views anymore.

I guess the live special on the WWE Network is going to be Perkins versus Kendrick.

And TJ is here. Let me just stop by saying you might never have heard of him before if you're a staunch,

WWE fan, but believe me, he is no overnight success. He's been wrestling for this 18 years.

Yeah, 18 years. He's been everywhere. He's been everywhere. He's been everywhere. New Japan,

TNA, Mexico, Ring of Honor, all across California, all across the States,

PWG, and now he's the Cruiserweight Champion at WWE. You hear all about his journey to get there?

What is WWE future might hold? He's telling stories about a young boy in the New Japan system

coming up in the Lutulibay wrestling times as a teenager in Southern California,

and what it was like being homeless, literally living in his car, trying to make it in the business.

He got advice from Roddy Piper, who didn't. Roddy was a great guy. He was in the same young boy class as Shinsuke Nakamura,

who is the NXT Champion right now. All right, I think he is. I think he's the top angle versus Samoa Joe anyways.

And TJ says he really learned how to be a true performer during his days in Mexico. He has an

a chance to cut a lot of promos on Raw and really do some talking, but he's an interesting guy.

He's a fun guy. He's a laid back humble, so cow guy. And he's got the mic for the next hour right here
