Hey, it's Kathy Heller. Welcome back to Abundant Ever After. I hope you had a beautiful weekend. I hope you are just really drinking in

this time of year. It's really so magical. You know, this month of December on the Hebrew

calendar is the month of Kislev. And these days are the darkest days of the year because the days

are the shortest. While the summer is the longest days of the year, those are the brightest days of the year because the days are the shortest,

while the summer is the longest days of the year. Those are the brightest days of the year.

So why is it that we think of this time, this month is known as the month of miracles, the month where there is the most amount of possibility for miracles and for light?

It's because we are the miracles. And why? Because if you take a candle,

one little candle in the darkest room, it shines. It's so beautiful. It's so powerful. But if you

took that same little candle and you lit that candle in the middle of the summer at high noon on a Tuesday

in the middle of the street you wouldn't even see it right and so we have to remember that

we have inside of us this incredible light and everywhere we go when we open our heart, we become this light. And then we light

other people's wicks. And so this is the time to remember that there's an invitation. Because the

light that we each bring shines so much brighter in these days.

And I think that's such a beautiful thing to consider.
