Hey everyone and welcome to this episode of the Happy Hour Podcast. I'm your host Gretchen Garrity.

My voice may sound a little like morning voice right now or a little horse, probably because it is morning.

I haven't spoken many words to others yet today.

So we're waking up, chatting to the...no, not waking up. We've been up for a couple hours, but I've been alone.

So I just like walked Brody. You may hear him right now. That was him sighing if you heard that.

He's laying near me. So if he starts sleeping and breathing deeply or like, you know, that's Brody.

I just feel like, does anyone else? If you're alone on morning and then you speak to a human being later on, you're like,

oh wow, I haven't used my voice yet today. I don't know. I feel like that's what's happening.

I'm probably a little tired from travel and whatnot. So yeah, sorry if my voice now, it's kind of funny.

But happy December, I can't believe we're like fully into December right now. It's so weird. I just feel like time goes by so quick.

And I know this is not a unique concept, but I just swear as I grow up, like the older I get, the faster time goes by.

And it's really scary, but it's like, I don't know. I just feel like when I was younger, you'd be like counting down the days for things.

And now time just literally flies. And I always have this sense of like, I never feel ready for the season that we're in.

I feel like I just got used to summer being over and now it's fall, but like now it's winter and it's December.

And I'm like, wait, but fall was like two seconds long. And I feel like I didn't even get to fully enjoy.

Like I feel like there's never enough hours in the day or days in the month. I don't know.

I just always feel that way because I try to cram in everything.

I need to be more present a little bit. I'm always like planning and looking back. And I need to just like be in the current moment.

But I don't know. Doesn't feel right that it's December. Yeah, I feel like a lot of people are with me this year.

I was just talking with Max's history yesterday. And we were like, what the heck?

Why do we feel like we're not ready for December yet? And we were saying that we have no presents for like any one.

Yeah, I feel like normally by this time of year, because it's like beginning of December.
