Hey everybody, welcome to the writing room.

So glad you're with us.

I hope it's been a great week that you've gotten a lot of words written down.

But even if you've got what they call it, writer's block, it's usually like writer's deferral.

You're just deferring it.

Like you're just not getting to it.

No shame in that.

But you're not going to get your book finished if we don't keep chipping away at it.

And so what we wanted to do is use this episode to just talk really practically.

And so my co-host, Kim Stewart, who's written more books than I've even thought of, we have just like some really practical questions people had.

So fun.

We asked all y'all about questions you have about writing and you responded in big, big ways.

So it's so fun to read what's on your mind.

And Bob, I think we should start with someone who said, we have gotten this question a few different forms.

This person said, my niece wrote a good book and she's trying to get it out there.

Any suggestions?

So what would you say to someone

who already has the book ready to rock? How do you spread the word? Yeah, you know, it can be this

daunting thing because you say, you look at other people and you say, well, yeah, he's he if you're

Oprah or if you're whatever. She could write a phone book and people would be like Smith.

Like that would be really engaging. But for like just average ordinary people like us,
