Life can be overwhelming. It feels like we have a million things to do and there's never enough time to do at all.

But is that really true?

Today we're going to share why multitasking is a myth and the real way we get more done in less time.

This is life with Amy and Jordan.

When we were teaching elementary school we used to dream of what it would be like to be full-time as photographers,

to be completely in charge of our own schedule and be completely self-employed, working from

home together every single day. And then we finally got to do that and

realized it was a lot harder than we were imagining. When we were building our

business while we had full-time jobs, our hours were so limited because we were working on nights

and weekends, the hours that we weren't in the classroom.

And then all of a sudden, this whole world

opened up to us.

And it was the first time that we were really managing

every hour of our day because when we were employed by the school a lot of our

daily schedule was really set for us and so when we started working from our little condo

together it was a little bit overwhelming and daunting to be the ones in

charge of what we were going to do every day and how our days we're going to run.

We never were able to go out to lunch when we were teaching elementary school.

There wasn't time in the day.

We weren't able to check our emails or our text messages because we

had 25 little humans in the room. Occasionally we would get to go on a field trip
