This is Life with Amy and Jordan. One of our favorite days when we were teaching elementary school was the day right

before winter break.

Because the kids were gone for two weeks.

There was another reason besides that.

I was the fourth grade teacher and Jordan was the fifth grade teacher and the day before

winter break we plan to make everything really special and different for them.

So instead of them coming in a single file line into the classroom in their red and blue uniforms with their khaki shorts and pants.

Fun fact, most days that I was teaching, I wore khaki pants

with loafers and a pleat and a polo.

It was lovely.

That was a good look.

Instead of them coming in in their regular uniforms on that day they got to come to

school in their pajamas.

So they got to wear their fuzzy slippers and their printed PJ pants.

A lot of the kids were into high school musical at that time

some of them would bring stuffed animals or blankets and so they got to come

you can incidentally you can tell a lot about a child by the pajamas they were.

I was like, girlfriend, you should not be watching that show.
