Life is unpredictable. In the last episode we shared all the twist and turns from our first baby's 20 hour birth story.

In this episode, we're sharing all the details of our second baby's birth.

We had her at home and she came so fast that we almost

didn't get our toddler out the door in time. Their two birth stories couldn't be

more different. This is life with Amy and Jordan.

I remember in birth classes with Beckett one of the things they told us about birth

is the least amount of expectations you can have the better and it's pretty gross

I didn't say that in class is that your own your own I think I was thinking that

I guess it yeah I mean it can be scary it can also be the most beautiful part of the human

experience I remember sitting there in birth class and going how is that going to get through

there yeah I think we were all wondering that. But I realize when it comes to expectations I tried

really hard with our first pregnancy with Beckett not to have any expectations about what the birth was going to be like

but the second time with our second pregnancy with Emily I didn't realize how many

expectations I was placing on things simply from my

experience the first time around. So for example, Beckett came two weeks before his

due date and so I think in my head, I just assumed Emily

was also going to come two weeks before her due date.

So we have two children.

Beckett is our two-year-old.

Emily is our six-week-old.
