Good morning. Welcome to Sawcast, number 37. My name is John Stryker-Marrer. I'll

be your host today. This production of Sawcast is brought to you courtesy of

Jockel-Willing Productions and his technical staff and we're joined today by

Carrie Helton-Carrie. So we're off and running here. I'm going to go to on the

ground for just a quick moment to get us started.

Jockels came running into our hooch with bad news. Our TV genie has been hit.

Wald and Brown are down. Jesus hates Christ. I can't believe it. Wald told me that

they told him it was a dry hole. Give me your PRC 25. Someone said they heard

Brown on the radio. No word yet. Later on the team had been overrun.

10 days later, we were at CCN and RT Oregon was on the ground. Again, we don't

know exactly what the fate of that team was, but it too was hit by enemy forces

in Laos and the team was wiped out. There are two Americans. The one zero was

Ronald Ray and then Randy Subur was the one one who had been in

country several months and today we're going to take a little different spin

from the action side of it to talk about what happens to a family of one of

our SAG warriors that go missing in action. And today as we speak, there are

1,581 Americans still listed as missing in action in Southeast Asia from

the Vietnam War. Out of that number, 50 Americans, Green Berets are part of

that listing and included in that is one for the two men, Ray and Randy Subur. And

this case, four days later and that team was hit on November 13th, 1969, four

days later, the family of Randy received the following telegram. The secretary
