And again, we're thankful to Jocko

for making all this possible.

In fact, we are in Jocko's recording studios in Lubbie, downtown San Diego today.

And with that, I would get right into our show.

You know, Mac V. Sogg was the eight-year secret war, and a critical part of the secret war was having aviators

who would come, who would take the teams into targets across the fence until Laos, Cambodia, North Vietnam.

More importantly, those fearless aviators would come back to pick us up.

They would pick up the Green Berets fighting against communism and

Laos, Cambodia, North Vietnam, and today there are still 1,581 Americans missing in action.

There are 50 green berets alone in the secret war that are in Leos from Cambodia.

Today are amongst those as well as 83 American aviators.

We do not have a number for the number of Vietnamese aviators

who died fighting with and supporting the Green Berets who manned missions

across the fence.

One of the major units on-sung heroes of that secret war, was the South Vietnamese Air Force.

The 219th Special Forces Special Operations Squadron was attached to Mac V.Sog throughout the duration of the war from the beginning.

They had a few different names, but the ones I was familiar with when I landed in Vietnam in May 1968 was the beloved Kingbee, the 219 Special Operations
