section of the Bible. So let's go to the Lord in prayer. Father, again we ask that you give us ears to hear, eyes to see, heart to believe.

We need the ministry of the Holy Spirit to bring home this passage,

what it says, what it means, what it requires. And so we ask now for your help and assistance as we look into your word. We pray that

we pray this in Jesus name. Amen., I love hearing Elvis singing Viva Las Vegas.

This was a rare exception.

He wouldn't share the spotlight with anyone, but Viva Las Vegas. So let me get back to less important things.

things. So, all right, first John chapter 5, first John chapter 5 and verse 5 and

we're just looking at this one verse and the title of this is the one who

overcomes the one who overcomes and I want to begin by reading verse five which

reads who is the one who overcomes the world but he who believes

that Jesus is the son of God, question mark.

So in this first, John makes another statement

about the one who overcomes.

And this is important for us because there's confusion today

by some teachers that only some Christians

Christians reach this higher level of spirituality,

that there is a dichotomy in the body of Christ,
