Why do God's children suffer?

That's a tough one, isn't it?

You know, but God's word has a lot to say about going through trials.

In fact, the Apostle Peter wrote his first epistle to Christians who were facing all kinds of trials.

Chapter 1. But first, Greg and I have some great news about how God is using his word around the

world. And Steve, every couple of weeks, we like to just ask the question, what's new at Through

the Bible? And today we're going to talk hopefully in depth about something that we've made reference to it.

But we really want to paint a picture that's so exciting.

And it's about something called the India Bible quiz.

Yeah, it's incredible.

And you think, well, what is that?

Well, India is to the world what Texas is to the United States, bigger than any other state, and they'll be the

first to tell you. And this is a group that has grown to over 91,000. Think of that number,

91,000 people participating in what Greg is going to be explaining. Yes. So what it is, the purpose of it,

it was started more than 10 years ago by our dear friend and brother George Philip. And the idea is to get people who don't listen to through the Bible, but are kind of interested in Bible study to put their toe in the water. So what they do is, it's actually quite simple. They pick one book of the Bible. They give people an entire year to listen to Dr. McGee's teaching. And in this past year, it was 14 different languages

and 28 different states of India, which is almost the whole country of India. Okay.

Yeah. The whole country. And 4,700 testing centers. So if you remember when you had to go to

your SAT, you had to go sit down, the 4,700 different physical locations and almost, as you said, 91,000 people.

And they study it all year.
