Summary

61. We've all seen the social media horror stories of fairytale romances turned sour because it turns out two people are incompatible living together - so what can you do before moving in with a partner to set your relationship and new living arrangement up for success?

I moved in with my now-husband about three and a half years ago, and today's episode is about the 10 conversations we had beforehand to ensure our transition was as smooth as possible. I really credit these conversations with helping us both adjust to living with a partner.

We're back on track with a Monday upload this week. You guys did not like the Thursday upload. I asked you for feedback because when I do take the podcast hiatus for the rebrand, I was like, oh, maybe we could switch the

It feels like fall.

And I think, and I said this on Instagram

1:12.1

last night, that fall starts on September 1st. I really enjoy recognizing and acknowledging

1:17.7

the solstices and equinoxes, wheel of the year, all of that. But in my head, the seasons work

1:23.6

differently. In my head, fall starts on September 1st and it ends the last day in November.

1:29.8

And then winter starts December 1st and then ends the last day of February. I've been told that's

1:35.3

how meteorologists do it. And also had a lot of people swipe up on my Instagram yesterday and tell me

1:39.8

that's how Australians do it, although obviously the seasons are flipped because they're in the

1:43.2

Southern Hemisphere. But apparently that's how Australians learn about the seasons.
