Hey there, listeners. Welcome to Horror Movie Club, the show with two dudes who aren't quite nerds but not quite nubes.

Choose a horror movie each week to rate and review. I'm Ashfin and I'm on the phone with Brian.

And this week we're doing something different. We're going to be talking about non-horror movies that scared us as kids.

Brian and I haven't reviewed too many non-horror films on this podcast.

I think we did one or two on the Patreon channel, but this is a topic that has been brought up by some of our fans on the Discord server.

Just recognizing that growing up, we see some messed up things that last with us as we get older.

And maybe it's time to take a minute to look back, reflect,

and dissect the trauma that we've endured the past few generations, or past few decades from

these films that weren't necessarily meant to be scary. So each of us have prepared a list

of 10 films that we saw as kids that have left a lasting impression.

And we're going to do our normal top 10 thing where we'll count down from 10 and go to 1.

But yeah, thank you to those who submitted this idea to us.
