Hello and welcome to Best Laid Plans.

0:11.1

This is your host, Sarah Hart Unger, and this is the podcast where we talk to all things planning

0:15.1

and planning adjacent.

0:17.3

Today is definitely one of those planning adjacent episodes.

0:21.6

And I have covered this topic to some extent before, but it's very important to me.

0:27.2

And every few months, it just bubbles up.

0:29.2

And so this is going to be an episode discussing 10 reasons to consider a trial off of social media.

0:37.4

The reasons for this episode are possibly

1:38.1

give you 10 reasons to consider a trial off of social media. First of all, I will mention my own social media journey, which I did go

1:46.5

into in an episode that I think I called, like the social media rant or something like that.

1:52.2

But I did quit Facebook in 2016 during a lot of election stuff. It seemed like it was becoming a very angry space, but also I do find

2:06.6

myself very easily addicted to the various features of social media. I can't say why I find

2:14.6

these platforms addicting in a way I don't have issues with other things.

2:19.9

Like, I don't have issues being addicted to substances or types of food, for example.
