Here's the backdrop.

So I was a senior pastor for almost 20 years teaching the Bible every week, went through

a few dozen books of the Bible, and my wife Grace and I took a break, figured it was time

for a little bit of a break, heal up and learn. And that was one of the most remarkably

wonderful seasons of our life because all of a sudden we didn't have the regular responsibilities of ministry and it was really a season of learning.

So it was a great blessing in that regard.

And what happened was some people met with us, counselors, pastors, friends. Some people flew in from

around the country, some live near us, some we got on planes, went to their house,

went to their church, had dinner with their family, and just asked them, you know, what wisdom would you have for us?

What could we learn?

And so for a season went from teaching to pretty much just being the student, and it was actually

a really rich time.
