All right, if you've got a Bible, there's a little book right near the middle of your Bible called Habak.

That's where we find ourselves. So go to Habak chapter 1, starting in verse 1, and today we're going to be learning to lament on that day.

That day inevitably comes for each of us.

That day is the day when you realize that your problem is a God's size problem. This is something that you can't fix, you can't

overcome, you can't change the circumstances or beyond your control. It doesn't

matter if you do better, try harder, or push more firmly, it's not going to move.

This is the day when the doctor says it's cancer and we have no options.

This is the day when your boss says sorry, you're unemployed. This is the day when your boss says sorry you're unemployed. This is the day when the person you're dating says we used to be dating. This is the day when the divorce attorney says it's finalized. This is the day when you realize that what you are up against is

something that is out of your hands. And that's the moment that you're hoping,

you're trusting, you're're praying you're weeping and crying

that it's not out of God's hands and you're trying to surrender it into God's hands

because it's ultimately out of your hands and where we find ourselves in Habakik

is that day with a man named Habak.

What we're reading is actually, in large part, his journal, where he's in the middle of it,

recording for us how he's feeling, what he's doing,

and where he's bringing this to God.
