Summary

Jim Florentine met me at the Comedy Store to talk about pranks. As long as I've known about Jim, I've known him as the guy who is always willing to go for the goof. He went to a damn abortion protest, for God's sake. He was always doing so many fun jokes that I even forgot he used to be the voice of Special Ed on Crank Yankers, which was probably my favorite characters. Really fun episode.

0:23.1	Um, on today's episode, I have Jim Florentine. He is, when I met him,
0:29.3	I met him probably through Steve Simone. He was opening him and uh,
0:33.3	Florentine and Jim Norton were opening for DICE.
0:36.4	Um, and they would come by the store once in a while and I just heard about these cool New York
0:40.4	comics, um, who hung out with the Enterprise Club and like were allowed to like, be with them.
0:48.1	And part of that, from what I heard, they're always both really cool guys.
0:52.4	Um, the part of that was the way they would fuck around with DICE.
0:58.2	I remember Florentine, we had this thing where there was, at the comedy store in L.A., there's a bunch of,
1:05.1	I call them chuds. Um, they're semi homeless. Um, they're either homeless or they are completely
1:15.1	half-homes and money, but they're drunks or schizophrenics. The comedy store is not a normal
1:22.2	business environment. So anyway, we were talking to one of the chuds once.
1:26.4	Some, um, um, fours gumpish, someone to fours gumpish, um, intellect. And um, as we were talking,
1:35.9	I sort of do this thing where I'll make fun of the person I'm talking to. If they're a little crazy,
1:40.3	I'll make fun of them, but to myself. So I'll ask some questions like, um, if they'll be like, yeah,
1:46.2	I saw a squirrel and a squirrel jump for three, three, squirrels can jump. And then I'd be like, well,
1:50.7	flying squirrels can jump pretty far. Have you ever considered that? I was just talking to them as
1:53.8	a normal person, almost answering the questions as they ask and ignoring the fact that the things
1:58.5	are asking are crazy. And as I was doing it with this, with this girl, uh, Florentine just started
