Today we continue in Matthew's narrative by jumping to the Gospel of Mark, traveling to the other side of the Sea of Galilee.

Yeah. Does that even make sense? We're going to continue in the Matthew narrative by jumping to Mark?

Yeah, I see.

You made a promise, Brent Billings.

We made a promise about every verse.

So we have to continue in the Matthew narrative. But I would rather use the Mark narrative.

So we will cover all content in Matthew. We're just going to do it through Mark.

And typically when I do that, I don't do that often, but when I do do it, it's because Mark is usually more in depth, not less in depth.

Yeah, as I just like the way Mark records the events here, I think they might be, oh, they're just better for my teaching purposes.

Whether they're more chronological or not, I don't know if I want to make that statement. I think I think I think that, but I haven't thought about that enough.

I don't know if I think that.

But I want to use that chronology is not necessarily the aim of either of these Gospel writers anyway.

So what's the point?

It's a great point.

But yeah, I definitely want to, I love the way that Mark packages this, the next story in Matthew.

I like how it's told in Mark. I like some of the details that Mark includes.

And so we're going to start at the end. Tell us the address. What versus we're going to cover in Mark today?

We'll be in Mark 435 through 520.
